Henry Ford Museum, Detroit MI

Through border control and now running late, I headed straight to the museum and Benson Research Center to meet with Transport Curator, Matt Anderson.

Matt was kind enough to take the time out of his day to meet with me on front of the automotively historic landmark and talk about the car and its journey thus far.

He took the car for a spin and at the end of our short but entertaining meeting, he wished me the best of luck on the journey to San Fransisco.

"I'd buy one!"

While stopped at the Henry Ford, I took the opportunity to nod where the Ford Motor Company began and take some pictures of a car born out of a location it was never destined to visit.

Following the visit to the museum, it was time to make tracks to Chicago... But not without first having a go at filming a Top Gear style challenge article :)

Watch this space for that....
