Last few pictures for a while - Enjoy!

Hi all!

Thanks for checking out my blog - a lot of prep work has paid off in getting a car to the States that is UNDER 25 years old and was NOT sold there.

For those of you that have just tuned in, my project was to take a RHD Ford Puma to the USA to travel in for much of 2016. It has been relatively straight forward getting it there, not astronomically expensive and has made quite an impression on the locals :)

I am now back home for a few weeks while I arrange a visa for camp in PA and will be be back at the wheel to take some more pictures in June. Here are the last few taken before I left a week ago:

Just waxed :)

Allow me introduce you at this point to a few of my Floridian friends that have hosted and enjoyed the anomaly that is this car State-side..

From left to right - Carmen Cruz (born in 1920 and fit as a fiddle!), Bodhie (it's his fault I'm in Florida!), Nina and Noah (the kids), Bryan (my host), Blaire (married to Bodhie), Light (my other host) and me!

This wonderful family are the reason I have come to FL and been able to stay as long as I have - thanks guys.

Noah in particular has been a lot of fun playing with cars and showing me around :)

Don't often see a Puma at WalMart!

Only in America!
My car with Noah's car. Noah would like to keep my car but he can't because of the silly rules in the US!

Look! It's bigger than a Mustang!

Here is a Ford Escort ZX2; it exists on the same platform as the Puma and is the closest thing they have out there in the US. It's the car I have to pull from for parts should I need any while I'm in the there.
Driving back from Miami for the last time!

Thanks for tuning in! Car is all tucked up at the house I've been staying in, covered in wax and under a tarpaulin to keep the sun from eating the paint.

See you all again in June :)

Pumas and Palm Trees

Pumba living it up in Brickell, Miami!
City of Miami Beach across the water I think
Another first perhaps?!

Another beautiful day in Miami!

Picking my Dad up at FLL airport
My Dad everyone :)

Dad didn't get the appeal of the o lay RHD Puma in the USA. So he hired a Camaro instead. Dang.

After our little jaunt around FL and upto Canada, I came back to Hollywood and got back in the little black cat.

Stay tuned!

Trip to Orlando and back

En route to Orlando to see friends

Ex pat pal, Phil back in a RHD Ford :)
And his Daughter, Tegan too!

Footage of the bikes from the Pumba

Very similar really... 🙈

So then I picked up a pal in Sarasota and we drove back to South Florida

Pictures!

Very significant picture to Puma enthusiasts!

When it rains here.. It pours!

At a car meet - it did get busy later :)

This is Hunter - he knew what the car was and by default got to take it for a spin!
Black car and 30 degrees C!

Ah yes... Toll booth... Didn't think about that...

Stay tuned!

I haven't forgotten about you all!

I am having trouble loading pictures using my cell phone for some reason. I'm working on it!

Still having a blast with the Pumba... Had people in their cars taking pictures on their phones while driving to Orlando recently! Some guy in a Honda Civic that aired up right behind me taking pictures… was a bit concerned for his (and my) safety.

Another guy in the passenger seat of Dodge Towncar videoing as I drove by on the highway… So I wound my windows down and waved my hand - as I looked in my mirror, he waved back :-)

In Orlando, I visited friends and got to to run behind a charity motorcycle ride (No small car jokes please ;) - I felt like the official support vehicle!

I will these pictures uploaded soon as I can. There are some good fun ones including an encounter with a drive-thru and Miami on the RDS radio screen 👍🏻
