Intermission…

Those eagle eyed of you will notice the lack of updating lately… I haven't forgotten about you all I promise!

I'm in San Francisco and have been busy filming for the grand finale of this rather unusual adventure..

Normal service will resume in due course, I thank you for your patience!

It will all be worth it at the very end, I promise!

In the meantime, given the current political climate I thought I might share something I saw on my walk this evening...

Something tells me that this area of San Francisco might… Just might; be democrat!

Next leg of the journey coming soon… I promise!

Denver CO

After a wonderful week in Colorado Springs with my friends the Browns, I headed over to Denver to go and hang out with the Asseoff's.

I had the pleasure of enjoying the city, going to a show and being generously looked after by my hosts.

Here are some of the photographs of the car in yet another never before seen location.

I forgot to mention, they have more volatile fuel in the higher elevation states! 85 grade is what we would consider 90 RON grade at home.

This is downtown Denver

Made a friend what exploring

Same era… Different continents...

Bottoms up!

And finally… My wonderful host family in Denver… the Asseoff's

Giving Jessie his first lesson in a stick shift! There are not many kids you can say their first stick shift lesson in their hometown in Colorado was in a right hand drive, British tagged car that never existed here!

Colorado Rockies

Feature film:

The most wonderful detour to Denver led me and the Puma to visit Alma and FairPlay - Alma being the highest town in the US and FairPlay being the setting for the popular TV show South Park.

The scenery was incredible as was the ability of the car at 10,000 ft!

FairPlay CO 9,500 ft

Alma CO 10,578 ft!

Back into the Rockies

The Aspens were beautiful in Autumn

What an incredible array of colours

Next up: Denver

Colorado Springs

Feature film

Colorado Springs was beautiful but also gave access to other great locations in the state itself. Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, Helen Hunt falls to name just a few.

Here are a few pictures of the car in places that you would never see it and that it has never been seen before.

Amazing road up to Pikes Peak!!

Incredible views too

Traded the Puma for this trip as there were five of us!

Sorry... Seven of us...

Then I went on a jolly :)

Car was getting a bit dusty!

Puma in the Rockies!

What a view

Then met some fellow gear heads

Garden of the Gods - loved this pic

And finally, my awesome host family - The Browns; thank you so much guys'
