Kansas City was a blast but it was time to make tracks and cross the real MidWest. I had planned to see friends in both Colorado Springs and Denver and on the way was geographic centre of the lower 48. 

Climbing in altitude, I couldn't help but take pictures of the beautiful scenery and skies.
