I have purchased a couple of new toys to help cope with some of the journey including:
40mm lowering springs
Lower front strut brace
Mintex M1144 front brake pads
Nothing to serious, but might help some of the journey.. Intrigued? Read on my friends!
Friends in Windemere from my hometown - saw them earlier this year; would be rude just to pass by!
Made friends here, not that it's a hard feat in GA - everyone's so friendly! The most beautiful town too. And a good night out!
I'm too close to miss it - heard only good things :) PLUS... It's on the way to the next leg...
Allegedly on the the best driving roads the US has on offer.
Coined 'the most bad-ass stretch of US road ever built', this terrifying leg of the journey sports no less than 318 twists and turns over just 11 miles (see why I need the upgraded brake pads?!)
Friends here that I have promised to see. Looking forward to be taken out to some gorgeous sprigs and waterfalls :)
Knoxville TN - Shenandoah National Park VA
Onto the next marvellous bit of driving heaven and may I introduce you to 105 miles (if I get the route right!) of twists and turns through one of Virginia's most beautiful National Parks. Speed limit all the way through is 35, so I intend to take in some of the scenery more so than drive hard, but it should still be able to have a bit of fun in the turns 👍🏻
Pal that lives here gonna show me around Washinton DC :)
And the final leg.....
My final destination; where I will be spending the summer. The roads here are all pretty epic in themselves so intend to have a good couple of months here :)
Watch this space....
